F.A.Q.
Question: What is Debt Validation and Settlement?
Answer: Debt validation is a process where your creditors are required to legally PROVE the debt they allege you owe. Your creditors will be required, under Federal Law, to validate the alleged debt. Unlike typical Debt Settlement and Consolidation Programs, you will be represented by a licensed attorney that can aid in the substantial reduction or complete discharge of a debt.
Question: Who Will Represent Me?
Answer: American Debt Support works directly with law firms in all 50 states who specialize in business and customer service to help you through these difficult times. American Debt Support along with our affiliated attorneys will fight for your rights and help you take back control of your financial future.
Question: Why Not Just File Bankruptcy?
Answer: Congress has passed recent legislation that limits one’s ability to file bankruptcy. Even with Bankruptcy you still may end up paying the majority of your debt. Recent legislation places strict limits on the declaration of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The majority of consumers will now only qualify for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Chapter 13 bankruptcy may not afford you the opportunity to Validate your debt before your repayment plan begins.
Question: Are My Settlement Funds Safe?
Answer: You are in charge of your money. You have total control over your money throughout the program. All that is asked of you is a serious commitment to deposit your monthly commitment. Settlement disbursements will never be made without your written consent.
Question: How Do I Qualify for Debt Validation and Settlement?
Answer: You must be serious about getting out of debt, ready to commit to a program and have a financial hardship. Your individual circumstances will be reviewed during our initial interview by a trained Debt Specialist, who will determine your eligibility for our program.
Question: Will I Have to Contact My Creditors?
Answer: NO. Your creditors will be notified that you have enlisted our services. However, you will be asked to participate and help on your case in other ways. All of this will be explained in detail as you progress through the program.

Answer: If you are sued by a creditor, there is absolutely no reason to panic. With our program you are enlisting the services of many law firms who will implement proactive strategies to assist you through litigation, discharge or reduction of the debt. In some cases a lawsuit can possibly even work in your favor when being represented by an attorney.
Question: How Will This Affect My Credit?
Answer: The purpose of Debt Validation and settlement is to get you out of debt at a substantial reduction, not improve your credit. It is likely that your credit will get worse initially and then may improve when your debts are paid off. There are many factors that need to be considered when assessing credit worthiness, including your total amount of debt, payment history, available cred
it, number of creditors, etc.
Question: What Happens After I Enroll?
Answer: When you make your first program payment, American Debt Support and our affiliated law firms will immediately start the process of contacting your creditors and placing them in audit. No games of hide & seek. They will require all creditors to legally validate the debts as true and accurate under current Federal Law. This is a very powerful process that can aid in the reduction or complete discharge of a debt.
